INFINITI helped kick off the 24th annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance on Wednesday with a special delivery. A 2019 QX50 made the 600-mile journey from Nashville, home to INFINITI's North American headquarters, to Amelia Island, Fla., stowing four guitars owned by John Oates of the legendary rock duo, Hall & Oates. The guitars will be on display on March 10 in the Concours' "Cars of the Rock Stars" class, which Oates helped curate. INFINITI's hometown connection to the "Music City" and the world's first production variable compression engine and hand-crafted interior of the QX50 luxury crossover made for a perfect road trip for Oates' priceless guitars. In addition to its involvement with the "Cars of the Rock Stars" class, INFINITI will showcase its current SUV lineup at the event, including the 2019 INFINITI QX50 and QX80. As the brand is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, INFINITI will also display its forward-looking Prototype 10 concept, with a design that captures the spirit of early speedsters while also previewing INFINITI's future electrification plans, offering thrilling performance and extended range. INFINITI is entering into its ninth consecutive year as a proud sponsor of the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance Media Center at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. The ongoing sponsorship includes unique experiences for both media and consumers.
