​INFINITI has launched the all-new MyINFINITI App, now available in Apple App and Google Play Stores. The app represents a leap forward in its ability to consolidate all parts of the INFINITI owner experience, in and out of the vehicle, in one place. Through remote vehicle access, personalization, maintenance, convenience features, and links to financial services account management, all INFINITI owners now have access to one app that unlocks their entire ownership experience.

The MyINFINITI App has several features, including scheduling a service appointment at a preferred retailer, service desk live chats, access to learn more about their vehicle’s many features, viewing the vehicle’s service history, maintenance schedules and receiving notifications to make owners aware of applicable vehicle recalls or service campaigns.

The MyINFINITI App experience is enhanced with an active INFINITI InTouch® Services Premium package subscription, allowing the user to remotely start or stop their vehicle, remotely lock and unlock their vehicle’s doors, see vehicle location, check vehicle status including tire pressure, brakes, oil pressure, and more.

​The 2023 INFINITI QX60 earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's 2022's TOP SAFETY PICK+ award for its excellence in safety features. For 2023, QX60 comes with a standard suite of driver assistance features, such as Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist.

To earn the Institute's award this year, a vehicle must earn good ratings in six IIHS crash evaluations, including the driver-side small overlap front passenger-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, original side, roof strength and head restraints. It must also be available with a front crash prevention system that earns advanced or superior ratings in both the vehicle-to-vehicle and daytime vehicle-to-pedestrian evaluations.

Additionally, to be considered TOP SAFETY PICK+, good or acceptable headlights must be standard across all grades.

​September is National Child Passenger Safety Awareness Month, and time for caregivers to review the child safety seats their little ones are using. While inflation and other pressures mean many families are looking to save money, purchasing a car seat is not the time to skimp, due to the dangers posed by secondhand or potentially counterfeit seats.

"Don't install a used seat, an expired seat, or a seat that's been in a collision, and make sure it was tested according to federal standards," said Robert Sinclair Jr, senior manager of public affairs at AAA.
